Carol Service – 7.00 p.m.

The annual Widford Lodge carol service takes place this year at Chelmsford Cathedral at 7pm on Thursday 6th December.

All children in Forms 2, 3 and 4 will be taking part, along with readers and members of senior choir, the orchestra and recorder club.

All children from Form 2 upwards are expected to attend; if there are exceptional circumstances meaning that your child cannot attend, please email headteacher@widfordlodge.co.uk

All children should wear their school uniform, including blazers but no hats or caps.

Performers will be allocated seats and supervised by the teachers. Non perfomers and ex pupils must sit with their parents and not in friendship groups. All children will be expected to sit quietly and show respect for the occasion and setting. Please do not allow children to play with electronic games or mobile phones. Eating is not permitted in the cathedral.

Friends, relatives and younger pupils are very welcome to attend.

Senior choir should arrive at 6.30pm to allow time for robing. Other participants should be in their seats by 6.45pm.

There will not be any homework set on this day.

Late Stay and Prep will run until 4.30pm only.

We are not returning to school for refreshments; this will now take place after the spring concert instead.

We are all looking forward to what is always a lovely evening.
