We are so proud of Miss Kiddle – who works in our kitchen, after studying nutrition at St. Mary’s University Miss. Kiddle has been part of the British bobsleigh squad for the past four years and we’re so pleased for her that she has been selected again to join the British bobsleigh team! This season she will compete in the World Cup and North American Cup before going to Whistler, in Canada, in March 2019.
Before joining the British bobsleigh team, Miss Kiddle had competed at county and English schools level as an athlete and had won the long jump at the UK Schools Games in 2008. She joined the GB team and competed for the first time in 2014. She came sixth at the World Junior Championships in February 2015 and 14th at the Senior World Championships that year. She was fourth in the 2 woman bobsleigh at the Junior World Championships in 2016.
Miss Kiddle is now one of three women in the British bobsleigh team, and competes for the brakeswoman position in the two woman bob behind the pilot, Mica McNeill. At the start of the 2018/19 season she had made 8 World Cup appearances and finished in the top 10 in half of those.
Miss Kiddle’s hero is Kelly Holmes “I watched her win double Olympic gold and then read her book and learned more about how she refused to give up “.
