We host several fundraising events throughout the year including the Poppy Appeal and non-uniform days for Children in Need and Red Nose Day. We also collect food, donations and gifts on behalf of the Little Edi Foundation, who work locally to support families in need.
Each house organises a fundraising event annually and donates the money raised to a charity of their choice.
In 2020 the school raised £4,885 for the David Nott Foundation, which was used to train surgeons, working in war and natural disaster zones, with the specialist skills they need to work in these challenging conditions.
We are quick to respond to crisis around the world such as fires or floods to provide financial or other support and our Eco-Committee works to raise awareness of such matters across the School community.
We have a relationship with our local retirement community, visiting the residents and inviting them to our functions.
In 2022 we worked with Love Your Chelmsford to plant wild flowers in a local designated area, raised £8,000 for Cancer Research via a Race for Life and £1,300 for The Farleigh Hospice taking part in the Reindeer Run.
