Recently the prep school had their annual maths house quiz. The lower school had 10 rounds involving questions ranging from the basic four functions to solving worded problems. Years 5 & 6 had a total of 15 questions to answer.

Working in teams, the children had three opportunities to present their answers before moving on to the next question.

In years 3 & 4 the winning team was “Normans 2”, the overall winners were the Romans.

In upper prep the  competition between the houses was great with Saxons 2 becoming the individual winning team and Romans winning the years 5 & 6.

After totalling all the scores, the Romans took first place for this year’s competition, well done Romans!
