After our fantastic forensic day and such an interesting lesson from Brentwood School, we continued to experience a variety of science events throughout the week. Forms  3 & 4 were educated about the inventions of Marconi in an assembly. They enjoyed understanding how science was part of his discoveries and were fascinated by the Vandergraph Generator, which produced a static electrical spark! On Wednesday we enjoyed watching 4C’s class assembly on sound.
The Form 5s then took part in a session on forces and rockets. They were totally engaged and loved launching their own design of rocket to investigate how the change in pressure affected its height.
Thank you to all the visitors we had in throughout the week, the children had such an exciting time and have become very enthused about the wonders of Science!
