Year 2 had a great day recently at our Florence Nightingale Day. We made some items for the soldiers to take to the war in Scutari, then we investigated some suitcases of people who went to Scutari with Florence Nightingale that had original
artefacts in them.
In the afternoon we took part in role play, where we took the part of nurses, soldiers and helpers in the hospital. We learned a lot about Florence’s life and the Crimean war and would like to say a big thank you to our parent helpers who made the day
possible.
