We hosted a very successful science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) day today at Widford Lodge. All the children in Prep School had a wonderful time enjoying the various activities. They took part in a Forensic Science workshop, as well as creating an outfit for the School’s bee bots, and then designing and building a maze for the bee bots to navigate around. For the Engineering part of the day, the children were given some paper and tape and asked to build a model that was able to carry water around the playground. Some of the models were very successful with one group managing to carry 400ml of water from the start to the finish.
