Two year 6 pupils from Widford Lodge have achieved Bronze and Silver awards in the Bonus Round of the Primary Maths Challenge.

The challenge was taken by 63,000 pupils around the country in November 2016 and 1800 high scorers were invited to sit the Bonus Round in February 2017; Widford Lodge had three pupils in this category.

The results of the Bonus Round were announced at the weekend and Xavi Barlow achieved a silver award and Guy Morley Jacob a bronze award, placing them both in the top 900 mathematicians who took the challenge in the country.

We are incredibly proud of our hardworking pupils and this is a welcome accolade for their commitment and maths skills.
