Holly Coward-Talbott, a pupil at Widford Lodge School, ‘Braved the Shave’ on 15th February to raise £4,355.79 for CLIC Sargent. CLIC Sargent fight tirelessly for children and young people with cancer individually, locally and nationally. Holly was interviewed by BBC Essex’s Sadie Nine and told the listeners all about her fundraising efforts.
Holly, nine years old, was raising funds in support of her friend who was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2017. “CLIC Sargent helped Maddy and I wanted to try and raise some money to help other children with cancer” said Holly.
Holly was supported by pupils, parents and staff when she ‘Braved the Shave’ at Widford Lodge School. Holly would like to say thank you to all those who have helped her raised so much money.
