Recently Year 4 travelled to the Gurdwara in Ilford, as part of our RE topic on Sikhism.

‘Wearing headscarves and having taken our shoes off when we arrived, we had a talk about some aspects of the Sikh religion and we were able to join in with some prayers too. After that, we went to the Langar where we had a vegetarian lunch’.

The children were a great credit to the school, listening well and showing excellent manners. Thank you to all parents who helped on the trip. It was a very worthwhile experience that the children enjoyed.
