In December, the Reception Class visited Miami House retirement complex to perform their Nativity to the
residents. What a wonderful sight it was seeing shepherds, kings and even a donkey walking down Widford Road to Miami House.

The children introduced themselves one at a time and told the residents who their character was. They then
performed their Nativity, speaking up beautifully and singing with gusto.  It really was a treat!  Afterwards, the children joined the residents for a Christmas sing-a-long.  The Miami House residents sang ‘White Christmas’ and then we all sang ‘Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer’ together.  Miami House gave each child a goody bag as a thank you.  The Reception Class hope to continue this link, visiting the residents for a play/craft/story afternoon each term.

Senior choir also visited Miami House and entertained the residents with their beautiful singing.
